My Early Morning 8 Km Cycle Ride...

After writing a very very very long post, I was thinking I should now write a small one and what better to write about my first early morning cycle ride on the Sankranti Festival day (yes...thats yesterday)...
I had bought a cycle, a geared one (2nd hand) to go for some long distance cycling...but since I bought (Its been 2 months, I was just using to roam around in my place......was always thinking of getting up early & go for long distance cycling but couldn't get up early due to the chill weather...

On Wednesday, the day before Sankranti, just before going to sleep, I thought "let me cycle tomorrow atleast for 10 kms..."...Kept my Alarm at 6AM and to get proper sleep, had slept that day at 10:45 PM itself...

Next day, the Sankranti day, the Alarm Buzzed as it was scheduled to buzz...doesn't do any mistake with that...isn't it?....But I am not programmed...so got up only after 1st snooze that is around 6:10, and was ready for my 10 km cycle ride at 6:30...So I took off and had almost cycled more than 1/2 km and realized that there was something important I had forgotten..."oh my head phone"...without songs the ride may not be that pleasant...even though me not being a music buff....So went back home and was back again with my headphones on....

After riding around 2 kms on the doddaballapur road, I was just thrilled...the early morning sunrise (though was very cloudy), the freshness in the air, and the pleasant songs...cool cycle...the ride was just wonderful as I expected...The best part with cycling especially with geared cycles is that you don't get tired, can cover lot of distance...Only thing is we shouldn't try to do overspeeding and if we do that, we get tired and the whole point is gone unless you are cycling to burn more fat...

Though I wanted to cycle more...I only had a 8 km cycle ride as I had to return back to play cricket.... Surely thought, I can cover more than 20 kms ...and one day I know for sure, I will be coming in cycle all the way from Yelahanka (my place) to my office (Global Village, Mysore Road) and that would be one of the post in this blog in near future...

What a ride I had?...I have now promised to myself that once in a week, will do a long distance (atleast 10 km cycle ride, may be 20, 30, etc...also).....so the next ride planned is tomorrow....Anyone wanting to join?

I feel no thril in it (like when i read the 2nd post, i got enthu to guess what would have happened at the end). But since this is a non-adventerous narration, i guess this is fine.
